How to write paragraph with adequate and inadequate Cohesion :

1. Develop a paragraph around a major idea. Express this idea in the topic sentence.
2. Make the relationship between the main idea of the paragraph and the thesis of the paper clear. Don’t assume that the reader will “get it.” Spell it out for him/her.
3. Support the main idea of the paragraph with details.
4. Create separate paragraphs for those details that explore your topic from different perspectives.
5. Eliminate sentences that do not support the main idea. Alternately, you may revise the main idea to include those sentences.

Cohesion means sticking together. If your group of friends heads to the lunchroom as a team and sits all together, you're demonstrating strong cohesion.

Cohesion is a word that comes to us through physics, where cohesion describes particles that are the same and tend to stick together — water molecules, for example. Outside of physics, cohesion describes unity among parts, and is something to be sought after. A team that has good cohesion is often a team that wins.

The differences of  “Coherence” and “Cohesion”

Cohesion and coherence are terms used in discourse analysis and text linguistics to describe the properties of written texts.

A text may be cohesive without necessarily being coherent: Cohesion does not spawn coherence. Cohesion is determined by lexically and grammatically overt intersentential relationships, whereas coherence is based on semantic relationships.

            I have two big black eyes, slightly aquiline nose, thick lips, chubby cheeks which made my round face looks so cute. My wavy black hair is long and very smooth. My skin is olive that make me look shiny. I loves to be captured, pose and always looks good on the camera.

The most characteristic about me is I am friendly but some people say that me arrogant, like cleanliness, very kind. My body is fat and tall.

My hobby is travelling, reading, shopping and of course sleeping. I like travelling baecause I like visited many place and take a picture in there but I very like travelling inthe bveach because can make me enjoy, happy and forgotten my problem.Ilike reading because can increase my knowledge and know about everything. And shopping, I think every women like shopping, yeah,,,,shopping is very happy. In my free time I often used to sleep,especialy take a nap in the afternoon. => Supporting Sentence

I am enjoy doing My activity  in my free time is browsing or open my account facebook. It’s very make me enjoy. I often use my free time to travelling with my friends. Thats all about me. How about you? => Concluding Sentence

I think if we want to write a paragraf with adequate and inadequate unity, we must know: how many words in the paragraf, and then what the meaning of the meaning of the words, and the important thing from the paragraf adequate and inadequate is we must know what the purpose from what the paragraf we write. And there is a three of component of paragrpahs namely : Topic Sentence, Body or supporting sentence, and concluding sentence.

A.    Definition Expository

A paragraph that explains or analyzes a topic is an expository paragraph (Smalley and Ruetten at all., p100). It includes: information, explanation, facts and illustrations. Expository paragraph can be divided into several model of writings: such as process paragraph, and procedure paragraph. However, the detail about these two divisions will be explained in a sparated chapternot to mention the example.

Traffic Congestion on Highway

In many big cities , traffic congestion on the highway into the complicated issue . Actually this is not uncommon . However , traffic congestion is an annoying situation we as road users .

If you notice, at certain times of the traffic on the roads seemed jammed . In the morning , traffic jams begin to feel when residents began to leave their place of work and the students began to go to school . In the afternoon peak traffic congestion .

Many things into a traffic jam . First , the presence of the railroad crossing . Second , a growing number of vehicles passing by in the streets . Third , the road is used as a parking lot and the vehicle as a place where street vendors sell . Fourth , frequent traffic lights died . Fifth , less commendable attitude to the driver , such as the vehicle lay not in place and vehicles primarily to precede each other . Finally, the traffic police do not appear in the post, especially if the traffic lights off.

Thus , due to traffic congestion arises , such as time wasted . In addition , wasted fuel also . Traffic congestion can also cause air and noise pollution . In fact , it can lead to stress which attacks our spiritual health .
